2015

Studied Public Policy at Hanyang University

Hanyang University · Seoul · Full scholarship

Full scholarship at Hanyang University, studying Public Policy and Humanity Software Convergence. The same year, went to Oman for a month to teach Korean culture and language, and came back with some Arabic and a lot more curiosity.

2017

Founded an education platform startup, 가르칠고학

Co-founded a platform connecting talented students with learners looking for tutoring. My first real experience building a product for real users.

Exchange Semester in Graz & Berlin Workcamp

FH Joanneum · Graz, Austria · Sep 2017 to Feb 2018

A semester at FH Joanneum in Graz studying Global Business. Living in Europe showed me how culture shapes product expectations. The same year, joined an international voluntary workcamp in Berlin with students from around the world.

PM Internship at LG Electronics

Amsterdam · European B2B division

PM intern at LG Electronics Amsterdam, covering the European B2B business for air conditioning and solar products. First taste of how complex products go to market, and how much UX matters even in technical categories.

Education Experience Manager at Codestates

One of Korea's first coding bootcamps. Mentored students and led weekly experience improvement sessions. Saw how poorly designed workflows block learning more than lack of motivation ever does.

Master's in Human-Computer Interaction

Moved to France to study HCI, exploring what makes technology feel intuitive rather than frustrating. Paris became home.

2023–Now

UX Designer at Dataiku

Designing AI and data platforms at Dataiku, making complex workflows accessible to domain experts who are not data scientists. Every project is about closing the gap between powerful technology and the people who need it.
